Rich in history and tradition, the quaint town of Boyne City offers residents and visitors a place to Live, Work and Play.

On the shore of Lake Charlevoix’s North Arm, Boyne City has been active in a variety of industries since its settlement in 1856. The city today continues to offer a diverse array of businesses, from classic car parts to custom handmade wooden boats.

Along with many opportunities for work, there are plenty of ways to have fun. Each season brings an assortment of festivals and celebrations downtown: National Morel Mushroom Festival, year-round farmers market, summer street walks and gazebo concerts, regatta, cycling and triathlon events, a classic car show and drag races, and holiday parades and celebrations.

Just outside of town, there are also many fun attractions. Visit Lavender Hill Farm or the historic Ironton Ferry that has been offering patrons a shortened route from town to the southern outskirts of Charlevoix for more than a century.
